A colleague and good friend of mine, Jonathan Stidwill has recently (well when I say recently, about 2 hours ago) set up a new blog focusing on Drupal (primarily Drupal 7) over at his personal website which is Stidwill.com. It already has some very useful posts on some of the more advanced basic topics within Drupal 7 such as querying entities and doing some rather nice stuff with rules. While having a morning skim through twitter, I stumbled upon this excellent blog post by the folks at designer daily entitled 14 excellent free drupal themes. I would have to concur that most of them are awesome. While there is a couple not to my taste, the majority are superb and would be a great look for any website, or a great place to start if you don't want to tackle making a Drupal theme from scratch.
