Technical Improvements

As mentioned in brief at the top of the home page, I finally got round to converting the site to be using OO PHP 5. It is my intention to further develop my blog manager class to provide a wide array of methods for handling different types of blog/news display, including the handling of comments. But the fact the site is now running off the class and making good use of the first handful of methods means I must be doing something right :).

I have spent most of the day cursing the Drupal 5 simplenews module and how unfriendly it is compared to the Drupal 6 version. I must attempt to persuade David that it is worth the rediculous amount of time required to upgrade the members area to Drupal 6 when we have a spare month....like that's ever going to happen :)
