Happy 2011

Just a short post to wish any and all readers to MySweetShadow.co.uk a very happy and prosperous 2011. As is often the case the holiday period was an extremely busy one, both personally and professionally, so as I'm sure is the case with many other people, one of the first things to suffer was the blog postings.

I will be rectifying that starting with my first post of 2011 on the second love of my life, Arsenal football club and about one eccentrically haired player in particular, look out for that post later this evening.

I will also be posting a reflection on different parts of 2010 in the next few days, as on the whole 2010 has been a very good year for me and I do not wish it to pass without it being talked about. For those of you who normally come for the music, I'll be doing a round up of the best albums from 2010 as well as a round-up on my first full year in the "job" of features writer at Rocksins (www.rocksins.com), an opportunity that has let me see and meet some fantastic musicians, who have also been without exception incredibly nice, normal, funny and down to earth people (and sometimes all of the above).

On that note, whatever you want from 2011, I hope it finds its way to you. Me? I'm hoping for a lottery win, to buy a house and for Arsenal to win the treble. You have to aim high don't you.
