R.I.P Michael

Like I imagine a lot of the rest of the world, I am currently sat watching the bbc news as they have announced in the last few minutes that Michael Jackson has passed away after suffering a heart attack at home.

It's horrible to say, but I'm not surprised at all, just very,very sad. Regardless of all the controversies surrounding some of his later years, he is and was an icon of his time and responsible for some of the finest pop music ever created. Hopefully now he will find some peace which he certainly did not have in later life.
