Heart Failure
Being an Arsenal fan has never been particularly good for a person's health, never more so than last night. The 2nd leg of the last 16 of the champions league against Roma in Italy was one of the most nerve wracking experiences in my 14 years as an Arsenal fan.
When the game went to extra time, neither side seemed capable of stringing more than 3 passes together at a time. When it got to penalties (finally), as Eduardo was stepping up to take the first penalty, the guy next to me in the pub said "If Eduardo misses, we're out". He missed. The pub collectively groaned, apart from the small pocket of Man U fans celebrating beating Inter Milan in the corner and now laughing at our stress and misery.
If penalties aren't good for your health, sudden death penalties enter potential heart attack territory. When the last Roma penalty thankfully was blazed over the bar and we had reached the quarter finals, complete strangers were bundling each other to the floor and jumping round the pub in happiness and pure relief. Why do Arsenal insist on doing this to us lol.

As much as we complain, we wouldn't have it any other way.
